Oceanit’s technology sherpa and design thinking advocate, Ian Kitajima, was presented with the Intrapreneur of the Year award at the 17th Annual Hawai’i Venture Capital Association (HVCA) Gala in February, 2017. A staunch supporter of technology industry growth in Hawai‘i, HVCA fosters entrepreneurial development through networking, education, and access to venture capital.
Referred to as “inside leaders,” the Intrapreneurs Award honors a person capable of implementing policies, technologies, and applications to increase a company’s brand and productivity.
