Oceanit SPARK Day: Scanite, Houston July 30th

  On Thursday July 30 from 12:30-2:30PM EDT Oceanit will be a hosting an invitation-only, virtual SPARK day event in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy. SPARK stands for Special Presentation of Advanced Research & Knowledge: targeted events focused on Oceanit advanced projects, products, services, and partnerships. Working with the DOE's 'Technology Development & Integration Center, Oil & Gas', this SPARK day will feature Scanite 'Smart Cement': an advanced, acoustically-responsive cement additive that can revolutionize well integrity diagnostics and monitoring. Oceanit will present on the status of “Acoustic Smart Cement for Well Integrity Diagnostics”, an SBIR Phase II project. The event will be feature guest speakers from Shell and the Dept of Energy, and provide a live demonstration of the manufacturing process for Scanite Smart Cement.  Oceanit is working with major oil & gas industry operators and service companies to bring this technology to the field. Design Thinking: A Process for Innovation, September 19th

Oceanit’s Design Thinking: A Process for Innovation workshops are an exclusive gathering, of no more than 20 people, designed for executives and leaders to provide a one-day, immersive Design Thinking experience. Workshops are held on Saturdays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm to avoid the interruption of the work week. Participants dive into the Design Thinking process through a variety of teaching methodologies and exercises. Since August 2015, more than 600 leaders have experienced what it means to "think outside the box", and many have gone back to their organizations to begin their organizational transformation. Executives will take part in an immersive, real-world project to learn the human-centered, prototype-driven approach to innovation. The workshop is a dynamic mix of short instructional lectures, demonstrations, and guided hands-on teamwork. Intellectual Anarchy Author Talk with Patrick Sullivan & da Shop, December 6th

Oceanit CEO Patrick Sullivan will join da Shop owner, David DeLuca, to talk about his new book Intellectual Anarchy in a virtual Q&A session. Intellectual Anarchy details the methodology used at Oceanit for 35 years to generate disruptive solutions to some of the world's biggest problems. From the idea stage all the way to the market, Intellectual Anarchy illustrates how this small company in the middle of the Pacific is able to compete on the world stage with innovations such as ASSURE-19, an AI-based rapid Covid-19 saliva test. da Shop is a bookstore opened by local publisher Bess Press. Oceanit Virtual Office Tour January

Unfortunately, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Oceanit will not be hosting in-person facilities tours for the foreseeable future. 2021 tours will be held virtually via Zoom. We are setting tentative dates for our quarterly virtual tours, but these tours may be subject to change as things develop. Public tours are hosted from our Honolulu offices from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m and are scheduled on the third Friday of January, April, July, and October.
